The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will soon hit the car lots with a refreshed front fascia and grille that pays homage to the Camaro. Shoppers will also be able to choose from new colors like Copper Bronze Metallic and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Most importantly, the 2023 Blazer comes with two powerful engine choices and plenty of innovative technology features.
At Spitzer Chevrolet Amherst, we look forward to seeing the 2023 Blazers arrive during the summer of 2022, and we are currently taking orders.
Impressive Performance Features
The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer performance features reflect the features from the previous model year. The standard Chevrolet Blazer engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine is standard on the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier trims. The four-cylinder comes standard with front-wheel drive and gets an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 22/29 MPG.
Chevrolet also offers a 3.6-liter V6 engine option that delivers 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. This engine is standard on the RS trim and available on the 3LT and Premier trims. It comes standard with front-wheel drive, but shoppers can add all-wheel drive to the Blazer RS trim. The 3.6L V6 engine gets an EPA-estimated fuel efficiency of 19/27 MPG.
Both engines on the mid-size SUV are paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Blazer models with front-wheel drive have Tour, Snow/IC, and Sport modes. Tow/Haul mode is available. The all-wheel-drive models have Tour, All-Wheel Drive, Sport, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul modes.
When equipped with the trailering package, the Chevrolet Blazer towing capacity maxes at 4,500 pounds with the V6 and 3,500 pounds with the four-cylinder engine. Without the towing package, Chevy Blazer will tow up to 1,500 pounds.
Innovative Technology and Safety Features
Safety and tech features should resemble the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer models. Standard safety features on the Blazer include a Rearview Camera, Forward Collision Warning, Forward Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic High-Beam Headlights.
Moving up to the 3LT trim, Chevrolet adds Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rear-Parking Sensors. The RS and Premier trims have Adaptive Cruise Control, a Rearview Mirror with an Integrated Camera Display, and the Surround-View Parking Camera System.
The standard infotainment technology in the 2023 Chevy Blazer includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, several USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo.
